On Thursday the 5th of February 2026 the Table Fellowship Lodges were pleased to receive a visit from our Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. John French, and several Provincial Officers of the year.
The RAM Meeting
The RAM Lodge was opened in due form by the Worshipful Commander, W.Bro. David Willmott, R.A.M.G.R., P.A.Prov.GM., who welcomed everyone, especially the Provincial Grand Master, wishing everyone an enjoyable afternoon.
After the regular business of the Lodge had been completed a ballot was taken for a Candidate for Elevation, Bro. Stephen Underwood, a member of Table Fellowship Lodge of Mark Master Masons. This proved in his favour and the Worshipful Commander conducted the ceremony of Elevation in a very sincere manner.
Afterwards Brother Stephen was congratulated by the Worshipful Commander and welcomed into the Lodge. R.W.Bro. John French also congratulated him and welcomed him into the Fraternity.
The RAM Lodge was closed and the Temple re-arranged for the Mark Installation meeting.
The Mark Installation
After opening the Lodge, the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Michael Prentice, P.G.St.B., P.Prov.G.J.W., had much pleasure in receiving and welcoming the Provincial Grand Master and offered him the gavel.
The Provincial Grand Master was saluted with seven under the direction of the Escorting Officer, W.Bro. Andrew Lynch, Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. He responded by saying how pleased he was to be visiting Table Fellowship Lodge.
He then introduced the Provincial Officers that had accompanied him, spoke about several Provincial initiatives, took the minutes, and vacated the Chair as the Lodge had work to do.
The Lodge Banner was paraded round the Lodge, and the Junior Warden gave a brief Address on the History of the Banner.
Installation of Bro. Robert Dickinson
The main item on the agenda was to Install Bro. Robert Dickinson as Worshipful Master. The Ceremony of Installation was conducted in a very sincere manner by the Worshipful Master. Afterwards our Provincial Grand Master congratulated W.Bro. Robert wishing him a successful and enjoyable year in the Chair of Table Fellowship Lodge.
The Officers of the Lodge for the ensuing year were appointed and those present invested. The Address to the Master was given by W.Bro. Michael Prentice; to the Wardens by W.Bro. Ralph Nabarro; to the Overseers by W.Bro. John Bryant; and to the Brethren by R.W.Bro. John French.
Our Provincial Grand Master was invited to present a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro. Anthony Willis, congratulating him and wishing him many happy years in our Order.
After the Lodge was closed the Worshipful Master, accompanying the Provincial Grand Master, retired in procession under the direction of the Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. The Brethren of Table Fellowship Lodge and their guests sat down to an enjoyable meal together at the Surbiton Masonic Mall.
