Opa! A Greek Night to Remember
Join your Brethren, their families, friends and prospective candidates for a spectacular Greek-themed evening at The Greek Vine in Wallington, exclusively hired for the Province of Surrey, Mark Master Masons.
Sponsored by our Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro. John V. C. French, this promises to be one of the highlights of the Surrey Mark social calendar.
The Evening
- Arrival: 6:30 PM
- Dinner: 7:00 PM
- Dancing & disco until: approximately midnight
- Dress code: Summer casual, cool and comfortable, no formal attire required

£28 per person (including gratuity), just 125 places available, so book early!
Drinks are available for separate purchase at the venue.

Starters
- Taramosalata: smoked cod roe beaten with lemon and oil into a light creamy dip
- Tzatziki: Greek yoghurt, shredded cucumber, garlic and mint
- Hummus: mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic
- Spanakopitas: handmade pastry filled with spinach and feta cheese
- Falafel: handmade and deep-fried chickpea, pepper, coriander, onion and herbs
Mains
- Beef Moussaka (or vegetarian): layers of mince, aubergines, courgettes, tomatoes and potatoes topped with cheese sauce
- Stifado: strips of beef cooked in red wine, tomatoes, onions and herbs
- Pork Kebabs: succulent skewers of marinated pork from the grill
- Kotopoulo Lemonato: roasted chicken pieces with garlic, lemon and herbs
- Horiatiki: mixed leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, red onion, feta cheese and oregano
Sides
- Roast potatoes seasoned with rosemary and sea salt
- Mediterranean-style rice
- Roast vegetables with garlic and herbs
Dessert
- Homemade baklava: layers of filo pastry with crushed walnuts, honey and cinnamon, served with Greek yoghurt
